Benjamin B. Taylor
Ben serves as Brick Financial's Chief Investment Officer and manages Brick's Choice, Relative Value and Balanced portfolios. Prior to founding Brick, Ben worked for several years at the investment banking firm of Lehman Brothers and prior to that with consulting firm KPMG. While at Lehman, he refined the value-oriented investment philosophy that he had begun to develop as a college student at Lehigh University. At Lehigh, Ben studied urban economics and served as captain of the varsity football team his senior year. He was the recipient of the team's MVP award for defense and special teams which is given to the member who best exemplifies leadership both on and off the field. Ben is an active member in the New Jersey chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), the Association for Invesment Management & Research (AIMR) and is a CFA® candidate. Ben is active in his community and is a fitness enthusiast.
